  • What are the dates/times?
    • Wednesday, September 30        12 Noon – 5:30 pm ET
    • Thursday, October 1                  11:00 am – 6:15 pm ET
    • Friday, October 2                      11:00 am – 3:45 pm ET
  • Is there a cost to attend?
    • Yes, at a reduced rate. You can find more information here.
  • How do I register?

 

Conference Content

  • Is the schedule the same as what was published in May?
    • The speaker line-up remains the same, but the times of the sessions have shifted.
  • Are the education sessions live?
    • Yes. All of the educational sessions will be live.
  • Can I ask questions of the speakers?
    • During the educational sessions you’ll be able to chat with speakers and other attendees via the online chat box.
  • Will content be available before or after the event? 
    • The conference opens at 9:00 EST on September 29, 2020. Sessions will be recorded live and will then be available after to view as a recording until October 29, 2020. All booths, papers, presentations, handouts and additional content will be available until October 29, 2020 on the conference platform. After this date, all papers, presentations and recorded sessions will be moved over onto the AWT website and will be available only to registered attendees.
  • How long will the on-demand content be available online after the event concludes?
    • The on-demand content will be hosted until October 29, 2020 on the conference platform, after which it will be housed on the AWT website and will be available to registered attendees only.
  • Will I be able to download the papers and presentations?
    • Yes! You can add all of the documents available to the online swag bag in your account and then email them to yourself. You will also be able to access them on the AWT website after October 29, 2020. 

Exhibit Hall

  • Will there still be an exhibit hall?
    • Yes! Attendees will be able to visit exhibit booths – and chat with exhibitors – online or live – when they stop by the booth.
  • How do I speak with the exhibitors?
    • You will be able to chat with exhibitors live via online chat or via Zoom. You can also schedule an appointment in advance to speak with an exhibitor at an appointed time.
  • What companies are exhibiting?
    • You can find a list of exhibitors here.

The Event

  • Is there a way to chat with other attendees?
    • Yes! You’ll be able to visit with other attendees in the virtual lounge where there will be an ongoing chat. Several pre-recorded learning lounge sessions will also be available.
  • Will there still be giveaways? 
    • Yes! Just like the in-person conference, you can expect to receive a goodie-bag (in the mail) with a few small sponsored items.

Technical Assistance

  • Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend this event?
    • No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
  • Is a webcam required?
    • No.
  • Can I access the conference on my phone or tablet? 
    • Yes — you can access the platform from anywhere while on the go, as long as you have a good internet connection.
  • Which browser is best for video streaming?
    • We recommend Chrome and Firefox.
  • How do I log in on?
    • Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event.
  • Who do I contact if I have troubleshooting issues on the day-of the meeting?

Future Events

  • Will AWT go back to Louisville?
    • AWT is negotiating with the facilities in Louisville, Kentucky to return in 2024.
  • Does AWT plan to hold in-person meetings in 2021?
    • Yes! All 2021 meetings are currently scheduled to be held as planned. The first AWT in-person event will be the Business Owner’s Meeting in February 2021.
