Content/Topic Outline:
The attendees will hear real world stories about some of the situations that women in water face in the field. These stories affect not only women, but young professionals too. The attendees will then learn strategies that will help them develop:
The session will also be eye opening for attendees to the silent objections and disparities that women and young professionals deal with in the field. Many of these issues are not brought up for fear of "upsetting a customer."
The outcome of the session would be to equip women and young professionals of diverse backgrounds with the tools they need to face the adversity.

Presentation Description:
The session would share real field stories on some of the situations that women and people of diverse backgrounds face. These will be eye opening as many times, they do not share their stuggles in the field. The session would then move in to strategies for developing confidence and dealing with difficult things.
Presenter Bio:
Tammy Faber has worked in the water treatment industry for 15 years. However, her initial introduction to the industry started over 20 years ago, in the paper industry where she was a Senior Buyer for the Power and Utilities. Tammy worked for FBS, Inc in Stafford, Texas for 12 Years. During her years at FBS, she served as the Administrative Services Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2015. She led the warehouse and customer service team and managed the finances of the company. She also was responsible for marketing the companies marketing related to the MWBE Certification. In 2021, Tammy joined the HOH Water Technology Team, as the Sales Manager and moved from Texas to Illinois. She holds an M.B.A. from LeTourneau University.
Tessa Nge is the Service Supervisor for HOH Water Technology. Highly dedicated and knowledgable biologist/environmental engineer. Adept scientist with a rigorous approach to process improvements to provide safe products. Looking for the opportunity to challenge interpersonal leadership strengths within a project driven role. She has 2 years of field experience and 5 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician. She has a Masters fo Environmental Engineering of the Unversity of California, Riverside and a BS in Molecular Biology.
