Presentation Description:
People are everything in this business. While we love to think our customers are loyal to the business, they're always split between the company and the representative servicing the account. Employee turnover, for that and many other reasons, is possibly the most expensive endeavor a business owner or manager can encounter in this industry. In addition to needing to hire and train a new employee, the training period is minimum a few months for some accounts but could be years if hiring an employee with no water treatment experience.
The challenge as a business owner is you have customers, but assuming your employees are not also part owners, they are also your clients. The product you are offering them is employment at your firm, and like your customers, your employees have options elsewhere. In this presentation, you'll hear an employee's perspective, Brian Burgess, as he's seen great things from every employer he's worked with and shares the best practices from all of them with questions and discussion encouraged.
This presentation will take a look at the the often unconscious decision an employee makes when evaluating their current position and looking at others. This information is invaluable to business owners as it allows them to properly communicate with their employees in a way that removes generational obstacles which are often crippling to critical conversations.
