Title: IoT Augmented Industrial Water Treatment
Presenter:
Laith Charles
Presentation Description:
A dynamic and evolving landscape of connected technology presents a daunting opportunity to revolutionize resource management and ensure quality control in the water treatment market. Despite these alleged infinite applications of the Internet of Things to augment existing industrial water treatment methods, limited examples exist about effectively translating these technologies into tangible results and utilizing this framework as a leverageable resource. This presentation focuses on some real-world examples of successful use cases, as well as some calculated theoretical models. These models present potential methods on how connectivity and the Internet could be leveraged today and may be leveraged in the future to improve the industry of water treatment. In a transitionary period where much of the work force will be terming, the way resources are typically viewed may need to evolve during the crunch of such a change. Additionally, new value sell service opportunities present around IoT augmented contracts.
